Snitterfield Cricket Club has already raised £50k towards the project. An interest-free loan facility of up to £50k from the ECB is also available, although in reality we would probably limit this to £30k as it needs to be repaid over 5 years. Once we have sufficient funds to erect the new building and make it watertight (est £100k), we may be able to commence the project and raise the remaining funds (for fitting-out) in parallel.
Now that planning permission has been secured, we believe we can raise the rest of the initial funds through a combination of grants, crowdfunding and donations. The most promising sources of grants we are aware of are:
We were too late to take advantage of the Sport England's Places and Spaces fund related to the Birmingham Commonwealth Games, but we did create a first draft crowdfunding page which we can use as a starting point for future grant applications. (Note: floor plan has changed since this was created)
